On the day of the procedure, local anesthesia or sedation will be administered to ensure your comfort. The dentist will then strategically place four dental implants in predetermined locations within your jawbone. These implants will serve as the foundation for the new set of teeth. Often, a provisional or temporary set of prosthetic teeth, often referred to as a denture or bridge, is attached to the implants on the same day of the surgery. This immediate prosthesis loading allows patients to leave the dental office with a functional set of teeth while the implants are gradually integrated with the jawbone.

Over the next few months, the dental implants undergo osseointegration. This involves the surrounding bone fusing with the implants, creating a strong and stable foundation for the final prosthesis. You will have follow-up appointments to monitor your progress during this healing period. Once the implants fully integrate with the bone, a custom-designed, permanent set of prosthetic teeth is fabricated.
